Welcome!

Our medical, surgical and boarding facilities are designed to accommodate dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, rodents and other small exotic pets.  We are proud of our state of the art veterinary hospital and welcome you to come by for a tour

 Reception Area

Our reception area is a brightly lit, spacious area where you can be seated until we show you into an examination room.  The reception area has many entertainment tools including all past issues of our newsletter, thank you cards from our clients, and many educational books.  There is also a children's corner with toys.  Our reception area is divided into two areas in case separation of pets is necessary. Feel free to get the latest news from our receptionists, they are always available with a smile!

 Patient Exam Room

We have four patient examination rooms.  All are equipped to allow our doctors to perform comprehensive physical examinations.  While in the exam room, they will look at your pet from nose tip to tail tip and everything in between.  We usually schedule exotic patients in exam rooms 1 and 2 and dog and cat appointments in 3 and 4.  Each examination room is equipped with a computer so that we can enter notes, open x-rays for view or introduce educational materials.

Treatment Area

The Treatment Area is where we collect samples and perform tests.  We have three "wet" tables that can be used for a variety of purposes.  The far table by the window is where we perform our dental cleanings.  Each table is equipped with oxygen ports in case we need to roll an anesthesia machine over for use.  Our Treatment Kennels house the pets that we are currently performing services on.  Each kennel is able to be heat controlled.  Since these kennels are in the hub of the hospital, we are able to keep a close eye on our critical care patients.  We have a wide range of supplies at our disposal to help treat and diagnose our patients.

X-Ray Center

Our digital radiograph machine is able to take high quality images and transmit them in a matter of seconds.  These images can be emailed to a referring veterinarian (if necessary) or burned to a CD for physical delivery.  We are also able to open the images in each one of our examination rooms so that we can show our clients the radiograph of their pet.  Our technicians are trained in the most diagnostic techniques for obtaining the best possible image of the patient.  For managing our radiology center, we follow the standards put forth by AAHA.

Laboratory

Our lab area houses the latest diagnostic equipment necessary for your pet.  Our technicians are trained in the use of each of them and are skilled in performing intestinal parasite screens, gram stains of the ears/skin/feces, urinalysis, chemistry profiles, complete blood counts, and a variety of other tests.  Our blood analyzer machines transmit the results into the patient file directly.
